Current music:Garbage - Paranoid

Y'know, it occurs to me... I never actually posted to say that the summit of my life has been reached: I now own Rock Band.

Unsurprisingly, I adore the ever-living fuck out of it. I spend waaaay too much time playing in band mode by myself by singing and playing bass at the same time. (I can even do this on Hard now for songs I actually know the vocals to at all. Trying to do songs I don't know at all, though, is horrifying.) I also habitually dragoon Beth into playing with me. Poor thing. Seriously, though, playing with multiple friends is the most fun ever, and more people should come over so that I can dupe them into playing as well. :)

There was this ongoing saga wherein I tried to open "Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria for days and days without actually having worked out how the gaining new songs mechanic worked. Then I finally pulled up the internets and figured out how I was *supposed* to get new songs and did it in short order. Except I had to fumble my way through Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld by myself on both vocals and bass, and it was some sort of travesty. Still worth it, though. :D

Also? Me singing "Wave of Mutilation" in my quasi-operatic voice=funniest goddamned thing ever.

Also, also? I made a whole playlist of a bunch of Rock Band songs on my computer so that I can learn the vocals better. *is not pathetic at all, no really*

So yeah, come over. Friiiieeeends!

I love Rock Band. I recently learned drums. I can do it on easy...same with guitar. So much fun.

Drums are the most fun bit ever. Or perhaps if you gave me sticks to bang things with, that would be equally entertaining. We're not very high brow over here. ;)

Stenny asks "Has she mastered 'My Heart will Go On' yet"?

I think he emailed you this tragic news already, but his computer crashed and ate the only surviving copy of your performance. We're in mourning.

A) he did, and I couldn't sympathise with him on the tragedy of the matter.
B) OH MY GOD, he PLAYED IT for you?! Remind me to murder him a lot the next time you're both in town? *sweet smile*
C) shockingly the folks at Harmonix have not as yet realised the potential of the song, and as such it is unavailable. :P

You are into some weird stuff Stenny. Let's not indulge him in his stabbing fetishes, people.

In an unrelated story, apparently a room at the Maroon-News is still labeled the "Stentor Danielson Room of Doom" - only no one has any idea who you are. (I talked to Marty tonight who relayed that)

Gosh, that's a bit violent. Y'know there are time when you've got to kill people *gently*. Also over a long period of time and as excruciatingly as possible. FRIEEEND.

Really, though, if anything I ought to feel badly for Christina. :P I mean because the .wav was so bad.

As I work in the same building as Harmonix, I'll be sure to mention your complaint to the guys next time I see them in the elevator.

If only your recording still existed, I would have better evidence with which to encourage them. :-p
